As soon as you pick this reel up you can feel the quality in the manufacture, it is light but extremely sturdy. The reel is all alloy which maintains the integrity of internal parts when it is under heavy strain. This is further enhanced by the one piece frame which again maintains the strength throughout the reel. The reel features the Banax HCS which is the combination of precision machine cut brass gear and pinion and a stainless steel shaft. This strength at the core of the reel gives you the confidence to chase big fish without worrying about gear failure. For corrosion resistance all 11 precision stainless steel bearings in this reel are shielded. The retrieval rate is 6.1:1 so it is great for working lures. The precision engineering in the reel almost make it one of the best casting reels you will find. The titanium line roller allows carefree use of braid.
