Therefore, a rod that can turn the jig straight to the side with a slow tempo of once per second, with one jerk of 1/3 or 1/4 turn of the handle, and a retrieve of 20 to 30 cm, was needed.
However, if you retrieve the reel slowly with a conventional rod, the jig becomes a weight, and the speed cannot be changed, and the jig does not move. A rod that can move the jig sideways with a slow tempo short retrieve... As a result of pursuing a rod that can achieve a quick initial movement and a clear stillness, and can freely change the speed of the jig, the ideal slow jerk rod was completed after the longest development period and the largest number of prototypes in the Poseidon series. Moreover, it was an unexpected surprise and delight that it showed a breaking strength that overturned conventional wisdom while being so slender, lightweight, and highly sensitive.
